SEEKING:

Pierre Toussaint -- the greatest hairdresser of his time (turn of 18th century America) dignified but playful, a tad mysterious ACTOR ALSO PLAYS
Doctor T -- a great Doctor during the AIDS epidemic, brilliant, tireless and deeply self destructive & Mr.Thompson--an undertaker in 19th century New York, soulful and deep. 40-60 Characters are African American.

Dr Potter -- a young doctor during the cholera epidemic, a little clueless and privileged but has aspirations of greatness ACTOR ALSO PLAYS
Antonio 20s - 30s a millennial, gay hairdresser, funny but deep. These characters are LatinX or African American.

Sister Mary Ulrica (referred to as Ulrica) -- a Sister of Charity, she speaks with an Irish accent, tough, brave, loves stories & Nurse #2 -- a New York nurse, a little naive, from Staten Island. A Believer. 20-30. THESE CHARACTERS WILL BE AFRICAN-AMERICAN, LATIN X or ASIAN AMERICAN

ELIZABETH BAYLEY SETON - founder of the Sisters of Charity ROLE CAST

SISTER MARY XAVIER/NURSE #1/SISTER ANGELA/FLORA - various nurses and nuns ROLE CAST

LAZARUS/DR MOTT/MR SHAUNESSY - ROLE CAST
