*Relocates to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO, and will operate under an LOA to the COST agreement (producer: Theater League, Inc.) for two weeks (5/28/12 – 6/10/12) with performances 6/5/12 – 6/10/12. Salary, housing, and transportation provided.
NYC auditions will be held by appointment only on November 14 and 15 (callbacks November 16).

(mid 30s - early 40s) Intelligent, sexy, sharp, witty mother suffering with delusional, bi-polar depressive disorder. Medicated. Often on edge, always interesting and full of contradictions. Dan:
(mid 30s - early 40s). Diana's husband. Patient, kind and long-suffering architect and family man. Diligent and faithful. Self-effacing humor. Always in control. High baritone with rock tenor. [Suggested audition song(s): I AM THE ONE, A LIGHT IN THE DARK, I'VE BEEN, I AM THE ONE, JUST ANOTHER DAY]
Gabe:
(reads sixteen) Diana and Dan's son. All-American, good-looking and athletic - everything a mother would want. Sometimes comforting and kind, sometimes snarky, sarcastic and deadly serious. Tortured soul with a good sense of humor. Strong rock tenor with falsetto. [Suggested audition song(s): THERE'S A WORLD, I'M ALIVE, JUST ANOTHER DAY]
Natalie:
(reads 15) Diana and Dan's daughter. Bright, determined, tightly wound, overachiever. Trying to be perfect in a highly dysfunctional family. Desperate to please and keep the peace, but has a sense of humor about her family situation. Strong mezzo with belt. Piano player a plus.
