MOLLY
Female, Late 30’s-Early 40’s, Open ethnicity, Irish. Born low vision and became blind at ten months old. MOLLY is resourceful, brilliant and confident and independent. A practical and more direct and concise in her communication, in opposition to her husband FRANK. MOLLY undergoes a surgery in the play that helps her regain some sight. The result of this surgery is psychologically taxing on MOLLY and her relationships to others and the world around her. Seeking an actor strong with text as the play is written in a series of monologues. Will use a Northern Irish (Ulster Irish) dialect. Blind or low vision actors strongly encouraged to submit.
