Love Trapezoid was originally commissioned by The Ensemble Studio Theatre/Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science & Technology Project, and has been developed and read by EST, Page 73, and the Southampton Arts Project.
Seeking Strong Actor-Singers for this new musical comedy that examines art, technology, and everything we use to grieve the loss of someone that we love, featuring a quirky indie-rock with
elements of folk and country.
Betty Lou Mandell:
Female, late 20s-early 30s. Quirky and cute, sexy without trying. Writes musicals, a little neurotic. Easy, folk-ish sound, alto.
Eric O’Brien: Male, late 20s-early 30s. Graduate student in robotics at CMU. Above average intelligence, good natured and down to earth. Compared to the rest of his classmates, he does okay with the ladies. Easy, folk-ish sound, baritenor.
Robert Spector:
Male, mid-late 20s. Gay musical theatre writer. Actor also doubles as DAN (Robert’s straight brother) and NANCY (a robot). Looking for a wildly inventive character actor. Ideally plays guitar, but not required. Baritenor.
