PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
SINGERS: Please send two brief cuts of contrasting country songs of your choosing OR you may use the accompaniment provided at http://www.thelittletheatre.org/auditions/ . You may also include any clips of movement or dance that you may already have. If you play any instruments, you may send along a short clip of that too.
MUSICIAN/SINGERS: Please include two brief cuts of you playing something in the country style. Please also include one brief cut of you singing a country song of your choosing, or you may use the accompaniment provided at http://www.thelittletheatre.org/auditions/ .
CHARACTERS:
BUCK – a burly guy with a heart of gold, 40s. ROLE CAST.
DEE DEE – a sassy, yet fun loving gal. Voice like butter and truly runs the place, 40s. ROLE CAST.
WADE – Mischievous son of BUCK and DEE DEE. He works at the bar, the youngest of all.
CHARLENE – A local bar fly who ends up joining the show, 20s/30s.
RHETT – a handsome bartender. The local ladies’ man” - or so he thinks, 20s/30s.
GEORGIA – A tough shot girl and best bud of WADE, 20s.
Fiddle Player/Vocalist - featured musician who sings backup vocals.
Guitar Player/Vocalist - featured musician who sings backup vocals.
