About:
When Devon visits Simone for an end-of-summer sibs fest on Martha’s Vineyard, she finds her little sister changed beyond recognition. As personal assistant to wealthy and demanding trophy wife Michaela, Simone enjoys a lavish beachfront lifestyle that these girls never could have imagined growing up in blue-collar Buffalo. Worlds collide and sisters square off in this keenly-observed comedy about ambition, regret, and the choices that shape who we become.
Seeking:
Michaela:
(Female mid 30s): Extremely beautiful second wife of an extraordinarily wealthy man. Articulate, comfortable giving orders, fierce, needy, winning.
Simone:
(Female late 20s – 30): Michaela’s executive assistant. Fiesty, smart, ambitious, socially gifted, naturally attractive, diligent about her appearance A true believer.
Devon:
(Female mid 30s) : Tough, self-deprecating, sarcastic, great sense of humor, savvy, lived in NY for years, very very likable.
Ethan:
(Male 40s) : A friend of Michela’s. Dating Simone. Apathetic about almost everything, very handsome, totally & effortlessly winning, has never worked
Jos-B:
(Hispanic Male 40 – 50) Caretaker at Michaela and Peter’s estate on Martha’s Vineyard for the last ten years; grizzly, sick of taking shit, fiercely funny.
Actors in this production will also be “as cast in 10-minte plays to be announced”.
