This is A Revue in One Act with Musical accompaniment and Dance
Note: This show is currently rehearsing and being presented under the Staged Reading Guidelines on 2/18 and 2/19, and is under application as a Basic Showcase production, pending approval. Most of the actors are CAST from the Staged Reading, but are now seeking the following:
NOW ALSO SEEKING:
1 female actor/juggler:
Young Woman, 20s. Cheerful, Helps to set opening mood of play by juggling colorful balls (pins not necessary). Must have juggling experience. Plays multiple roles including Assistant to the International Woman Of Strength, Security Guard at NYC Dollar Store, Grace O’Malley (Irish Legend), must be proficient in Irish accent.
STILL SEEKING:
1 male and 1 female dancer:
Seeking two dancers that are highly skilled in Ballet and Modern. Must be advanced in Ballet and Modern and be available for daytime rehearsals in NYC in preparation for AEA Showcase that will take place in April 2012.
2 musicians:
One advanced classical flute player and one advanced classical violinist to play opening number set in Elizabethan time. Flute and violin will join piano during transitions between scenes and occasionally to enhance the mood during a scene. Musical Director and pianist already cast and rehearsing.
