Synopsis: Fuddy-duddy novelist Charles Condomine suffers a marital crisis of comedic proportions when an eccentric psychic summons the ghost of his hot-tempered first wife, Elvira, who will stop at nothing to end his current marriage…or his life. Noël Coward's spirited supernatural classic is British wit at its best.

Seeking:

Charles Condomine:

(30s-40s). Witty, debonair, urbane, successful British novelist and society man who wishes to learn about the occult for a novel he is writing, and summons a Medium. His deceased first wife, Elvira, returns as a ghost—and his current wife, Ruth, is none too pleased about it. Educated and articulate, Charles is not prone to believing in the supernatural, but cannot explain away Elvira. He is drawn to difficult women. He can be testy and quick-tempered. Must have great comedic timing and be able to do a British accent.
