SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLES ONLY: Corrie:

(mid 20s) female, very pretty, utterly charming, intelligent, high-strung, impulsive and full of hope. A passionate free spirit very much in love with her new husband, Paul.

Paul:

(late 20s) handsome, ‘buttoned-down’ and conservative, just embarking on his law career. He is intense, serious, self-absorbed, yet can be charming and witty with a dry sense of humor. Can be a bit priggish when faced with Corie’s exuberance. He is completely in love with Corie, spends most of the play trying to figure her out and survive the experience.

Mrs. Banks:

(mid-late 50s) Corie’s mother, lovely, warm, maternal. She worries about Corie, wants everything to be right, tries not to meddle but can’t help it. She is suburban and can be uptight, cares very much about ‘appearances’. She ‘hovers’.
