ASPECTS OF LOVE tells the story of a love triangle between Rose, Alex and his uncle George, over the course of approximately 20 years. Things are further complicated with Rose and George marry, and Alex later falls for their teenaged daughter Jenny.
Seeking:
Alex Dillingham:
Tenor. Character ages 17 to mid-30s. A young Brit who falls in love with the glamorous French actress Rose. Alex is handsome and passionate, but naïve when we first meet him. Over the course of the play he struggles with his feelings for Rose, and later her daughter. Seeking an excellent singer/actor with strong high notes (G’s and A’s) and a legit sound.
Rose Vibert:
Soprano. Character ages 25 to mid-40s. A struggling French actress who later becomes very successful. She is a passionate but capricious woman, you never quite know how she truly feels or what she really wants from the men in her life. She is beautiful and sexy, and needs to be the center of attention at all times. Seeking an excellent singer/actor with a rich Soprano voice.
