Seeking actors of all ethnicities for the following roles:
Jamie:
Female, mid-20s; a small-business owner and accomplished card player; ambitious and bright but a bit naïve; eloquent, impatient; life hasn’t yet turned out the way she expected.
Bashtu:
Male, mid-to-late 30s; a boisterous card-player; energetic, heavy drinker, lives for bad puns and swears like a sailor; a modern-day Falstaff.
Tag:
Male, mid-to-late 30s; pensive, strategic, well-spoken but introverted; has wiry strength and mannerisms that hint at a violent past. (Some experience with stage combat a plus for this role.)
Ava:
Female, mid 30s to late 40s; sharp-tongued and bitter. At first, she appears to be advanced in years, but her youthful energy emerges as the play unfolds. (Some experience with stage combat a plus for this role.)
Tamia:
Female, late 20s to early 30s; effervescent, the life of the party, but with a hidden sadness. A den mother by default, Tamia is skilled at boosting the spirits of those around her, but feels personally unfulfilled.
