The Des Moines Playhouse will stage 'The Boxcar Children' thru Mar. 14, 2010 . The production has been adapted for the stage by Barbara Field from the book by Gertrude Chandler Warner.
Finding themselves suddenly orphaned, Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden band together and make a home for themselves in an abandoned railroad car.
