"Cabaret" contrasts love, optimism and naiveté with organized bigotry and lust for power. Set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, the relationship of Sally Bowles and her American writer Cliff Bradshaw play out in and around the seedy Kit Kat Klub. The twelve-time Tony Award winning musical, "Cabaret" is loved for iconic songs such as "Cabaret" and "Money" along with its multilayer storyline. Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome!

Director, and newly named Artistic Director, Bryce Alexander has cast New York City based actor Garrett Zuercher* to play the Emcee alongside local actor Daniel Traylor. Together Mr. Zuercher - a deaf performer - and Mr. Traylor - who has severe hearing loss - will lead the ensemble through the course of the show combining their own unique, diverse, and theatrical methods of communication, characterization, and storytelling into the iconic character that leaves audiences speechless.

Jeremy Palmer and real-life wife Lyndsay Palmer have been cast as Clifford Bradshaw and Sally Bowles. Lucy Roucis returns to the stage in the iconic role of Fraulein Schneider alongside Mark Dissette as Herr Shultz and Phamaly favorites Ashley Kelashian as Fraulein Kost and Trenton Schindele as Ernst Ludwig.

The "Cabaret" female ensemble includes Khea Craig, Harper Liles, Megan McGuire, Amber Marsh, Lauren Cora Marsh (Understudy: Fr. Kost), Laurice Quinn, Micayla Smith, Kristi Siedow-Thompson (Understudy: Sally Bowles), Vicki Thiem

Rachel VanScoy, Shannon Wilson and Linda Wirth (Understudy: Fr. Schneider). Male ensemble members are Kevin Ahl,

Brian Bernard, Stewart Caswell, Donny Gabenski, Adam Johnson, Phillip Lomeo (Understudy: Cliff Bradshaw), James Sherman and Andrew Tubbs along with our youth ensemble members Everett Ediger, Harper Ediger and Leslie Wilburn.

Artistic Director Bryce Alexander says, "Cabaret allows us to powerfully and enjoyably demonstrate the struggles of persecuted people - both in the past and the present - to challenge perceptions about the world, and to motivate audiences to re-envision disability. After all, as the Emcee reminds us in the closing number of the show, 'Life is a Cabaret.'"

An Audio Described and ASL Signed performance is scheduled for Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. Please indicate that you need ASL services when purchasing tickets.
