HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS to Launch North American Tour Across 26 Venues

Hold On To Your Butts, the live parody of Jurassic Park, will launch a North American Tour. The tour opens September 16 at the Galleria Theater in Denver, Colorado and visits 26 venues across the United States and Canada through April 2027, including stops in Minneapolis, Des Moines, La Jolla, and more.

Hold On To Your Butts has become an international phenomenon since its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in 2024. Following two sell-out seasons at Edinburgh, a 2025 UK tour, a limited run on London's West End, and its Off-Broadway debut as Winner of the 2026 SoHo Playhouse International Fringe Encore Series, the show now heads on tour.

Hold On To Your Butts is a live, shot-for-shot parody of the greatest dinosaur film of all time, performed by just two actors and a Foley artist. Using household objects, hilarious impersonations, and live sound effects, Recent Cutbacks recreates every scene with lo-fi ingenuity and genuine craft. The show runs 60 minutes and is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Hold On To Your Butts opens in Denver, CO at the Galleria Theater (September 16-October 4) before continuing to Des Moines, IA; Dubuque, IA; and Minneapolis, MN in the fall of 2026. The Canadian leg of the tour spans January-February 2027, visiting venues in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The tour concludes with spring 2027 dates in Overland Park, KS; Tracy, CA; Rancho Cucamonga, CA; and La Jolla, CA.
