Equinox Theatre Company has announced Stephen Sondheim's Company: The Musical. Performances will be tonight, June 27 through July 19 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM. Plus one industry night on Thursday, July 10. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, group rates available for groups of 6 or more. On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor Robert contemplates his unmarried state. Through a series of hilarious vignettes, we are introduced to "those good and crazy people," his married friends, as Robert weighs the pros and cons of married life. In the end, he realizes being alone is "alone, not alive."

Featuring the talents of: Adam Shelton as Bobby, Mica Dominguez-Robinson as Marta, Nancy Begley as Sarah, Devin Bustamante as David, Danielle Gillespie as Susan, Joel Silverman as Larry, Matt Cantwell as Paul, Kristi-Seidow-Thompson as April, Angela Mendez as Kathy, Patrick Brownson as Harry, Margaret Ozaki as Jenny, Timothy Kennedy as Peter, Shahara Ray as Joanne and Natasha Gleichmann as Amy.

Company: The Musical originally premiered on Broadway in 1971 and won six Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical. It has such perennial favorites as "The Ladies Who Lunch," "Another Hundred People," and "Getting Married Today." There have been three major revivals, including the most recent production by the New York Philharmonic featuring Neil Patrick Harris as Bobby and Patti LuPone as Joanne.
