The Women of Squirrel Run at Van Fleet theatre at CPAC

This takes place in a small town on the Ohio River in 1999. Seven women (ages 18 - 85) live seemingly ordinary lives, but they show their strengths under extraordinary circumstances. This is a story about LOVE and the sacrifices these women make for their loved ones. Squirrel Run is a musical comedy/drama. The funny scenes are very funny, and the dramatic scenes are very insightful. The music is the real star of the show: beautiful, lyrical, thought-provoking pieces, and very funny, upbeat numbers. Very good cast. This original, premiere production showcases roles for older women.
