Shadowbox Live Hosts New Years Eve

By: Dec. 23, 2010

Here we are at the end of the first decade of the 21st century and there is plenty to celebrate. And who does it better than Shadowbox Live? Nobody! And so, well aware of their responsibilities as revelers of rock, BillWho? and the Shadowbox Live crew are ready to usher you in to 2011 with the best New Year's party in town.

"One of the first things Shadowbox did when we started twenty-some years ago was to put up warehouse raves for extra revenue between theatrical performances," reminisces C.E.O. and founder Stev Guyer, "So we've always been good at throwing a party."

And party they shall.

The festivities kick off at 9pm when guests arrive and are welcomed to an upscale banquet with beef tenderloin, herb-stuffed chicken breast, and all the fixin's, as well as a cash bar.

Patrons eat, drink, and mingle with the Shadowbox Live gang and each other until 10:30, when Shadowbox's house band, BillWho?, takes the stage and the party starts a' rockin! These energetic musicians delight the crowd with a three-hour, non-stop set full of classics from years past and even a few select peeks at songs that will appear in the upcoming show, The Naked Truth.

The only pause in the concert / dance party comes at Midnight when complimentary champagne is passed among the crowd and cast, and the giant video screens help every one in the theatre count down into the new year.

So get ready to rock, to jam, to groove, shake the night away, boogie down, raise the roof, whichever way you'd like to close out this year and welcome in the next. New Year's Eve at Shadowbox will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2010 at Shadowbox Live in the Easton Town Center. Doors open at 9:00 PM and the $60 ticket includes the dinner banquet, dance party, and champagne toast. For reservations contact the Shadowbox Live Box Office at 614-416-7625 or go online to www.shadowboxlive.org .
