STAGE TUBE: CCT's Youth Conservatory Needs Donations to Get to Atlanta Jr Theatre Festival

One of the most anticipated events Columbus actors age 10-15 aspire to be a part of is Columbus Children's Theatre's Summer Youth Performance Conservatory. This summer long intensive training program helps students polish skills in acting, singing and dancing in a safe, productive, judgement-free environment. The training program culminates in a two-week run of a fully staged show complete with beautiful costumes ad scenery. Check out the video and donate to the cause!

The 2013 Summer Youth Conservatory will be performing Disney's The Little Mermaid, JR August 7-18 at CCT's Park Street Theatre. This fabulous show is a perfect fit this year as CCT is celebrating 50 years of operation Disney's Little Mermaid, JR is just one of the many big name shows in this celebratory season.

As part of its 50th birthday celebration, CCT would like to take the 25 students in the Summer Youth Performance Conservatory to the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2014. The festival will provide students the opportunity to work with a multitude of Broadway actors and directors, get a glimpse of a new Broadway show, perform for their peers and receive adjudication and (hopefully) awards from theatre professionals from around the world!
