About Three Dog Night

Celebrating a career spanning nearly five decades, Three Dog Night achieved more Top 10 hits, sold more albums, and sold more tickets than any other group from 1969-74. However, the Grammy-nominated band is not content to rest on its legacy alone.

Three Dog Night began adding new songs to its arsenal by releasing its first double-A sided single in nearly 25 years-the blistering performance of "Heart of Blues," and the timely, beautiful a-cappella ballad "Prayer of the Children" (2009).

The group recorded their 35th Anniversary Hits Collection (2004) with the London Symphony Orchestra, giving fans new and old a chance to experience dynamic performances of their hits as well as several new songs with exciting new orchestral arrangements.

Three Dog Night maintains an aggressive, year-round touring schedule of more than 70 dates each year, performing more than 2,200 shows since 1986 (including two Super Bowls). The hit-filled concerts are performed for generation-spanning audiences by Danny Hutton (founder/lead vocalist), Michael Allsup (guitar), Paul Kingery (bass/vocals), Pat Bautz (drums), Eddie Reasoner (keyboards), and David Morgan (vocals).

Boasting chart and sales records that are virtually unmatched in popular music, Three Dog Night had 21 consecutive Top 40 hits, including three #1 singles, 11 Top 10s, and 18 straight Top 20s, selling more than 7 million singles resulting in 12 straight RIAA Certified Gold LPs. The hits appeared on best-selling charts in all genres (pop, rock, and country).
