Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra Concert to Feature CSYO Alumni and Julliard Grad Siwoo Kim

The Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra (CSYO) will showcase one of its own alumni in its concert at the Capitol Theatre on November 11. Violinist Siwoo Kim, who graduated from the CSYO program in 2008, will be featured on Brahms' Violin Concert in D Major. Hailing from Westerville, Kim graduated from Julliard in May 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in music, and is continuing on at the prestigious school to pursue a Master's Degree. The concert program will also include Wagner's Overture to Die Meistersingers and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5 in D Major ("Reformation"). CSO Associate Conductor Peter Stafford Wilson will conduct.

This Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra concert will be performed at the Capitol Theatre (77 S. High St.) on Sunday, November 11, at 3pm. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. All tickets are general admission and can be purchased at the door.
