Crystal Bowersox Performs at Dominican University, 9/17
Crystal Bowersox will perform at the Dominican University for the Performing Arts on Saturday, September 17, 2011 with guest opener Corey Crowder in the Lund Auditorium at 7:30 PM. Tickets starting at $21.
Earthy, bluesy, smokey, roots-folk are just some of the words used to describe singer/songwriter Crystal Bowersox. Come see for yourself how her originality has set her apart from the typical American Idol alumni. The story behind the voice, the acoustic guitar, blue eyes and blonde dreadlocks is much more than skin deep. Farmer's Daughter, Crystal's first studio release chronicles her personal experience of dealing with a dark childhood, to finding love and happiness as a young woman, and everything in between. "It's my life story," Crystal says. "And that includes the good and bad chapters. I hope that people can appreciate the honesty in the lyrics and get to know me as a person through my music. I'm an open book and this is my diary."
