Broadway In Chicago Offers 1776 Half-Price Tickets for 4th of July Weekend

By:

BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL and FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP will make 1776 half price tickets available through the League of Chicago Theatres' Hot Tix program beginning Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to select performances July 1-8, 2010 for purchase at either one of the two Hot Tix booth locations (72 E. Randolph St. and 163 E. Pearson St.) or at www.HotTix.org while supplies last. Broadway In Chicago has developed this offer in conjunction with the League of Chicago Theatres which provides services and support to over 200 Chicagoland theaters.

BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL is currently on sale through October 24 at the Ford Center/Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph St.). Winner of ten 2009 Tony® Awards including BEST MUSICAL, BILLY ELLIOT delighted critics when it opened in Chicago in April 2010. Time Magazine's "BEST MUSICAL OF THE DECADE" is a joyous, exciting and feel-good celebration of one boy following his heart and making his dreams come true. Called "THE MOST INSPIRING SHOW I'VE SEEN IN YEARS" (Ben Brantley, The New York Times), this "LONG ANTICIPATED Elton John MUSICAL IS IMPOSSIBLE TO RESIST" (Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune).

BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL will have a limited number of half-price tickets for the following performances:
Friday, July 2 at 8 PM; Saturday, July 3 at 2 PM; Saturday, July 3 at 8 PM; Sunday, July 4 at 2 PM

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP is now in its finAl Weeks at the Auditorium Theatre at Roosevelt University (50 E. Congress). This non-stop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion and kinetic aerial imagery resembles nothing less than a fantastic mash-up between aerial theater and a late-night dance party. The historic landmark theatre's stage and lobby are now transformed into an alternate universe, filled with flying performers, pumping beats, engaging dream sequences and a multidimensional swimming pool above the heads of the audience who stands on stage in the middle of the action.

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP will have a limited number of half-price tickets for the following performances:
Thursday, July 1, 7:30 PM; Friday, July 2, 7:30 and 10:00 PM;
Saturday, July 3, 7:30 and 10:00 PM;Sunday, July 4, 3:00;
