York Symphony Orchestra's HOLIDAY POPS SPECTACULAR to Play Two Performances ImageThe York Symphony Orchestra will present the annual Holiday Pops Spectacular on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts in York. The York Symphony Chorus and special guest group, Greater York Dance, will join the Orchestra for two inspiring performances filled with holiday cheer.

"Due to the incredible demand we see for this concert every year, we are offering a matinee and evening performance for the very first time," said Lawrence Golan, Music Director and Conductor of the York Symphony Orchestra. "The Holiday Pops Spectacular is an annual, audience-favorite featuring festive musical compositions and dance performances that will fill the audience with the warmth and joy of the holiday season."

During both concert times, Greater York Dance - the region's nonprofit center for dance education, performance and dance entertainment - will delight audiences with a spectacular, visual celebration of the holiday season.

In addition, the York Symphony Chorus - an all-star performance group known for bringing a variety of choral masterworks to stage with precision and expressiveness - will join the York Symphony Orchestra to create two incredible concerts that will leave audience members uplifted and inspired.

"The Holiday Pops Spectacular is a family-friendly concert that will appeal to all ages and will put you in the holiday spirit," said Golan. "This show traditionally sells out every year and we are seeing tickets for both the matinee and evening performances going fast."

The York Symphony Orchestra will present Holiday Pops Spectacular on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts in York. Single tickets starting at $9 for adults and $5 for students are available online at www.yorksymphony.org and by calling 717-846-1111.
