If you're looking for a close shave, don't go to the barber on Fleet Street. He's a nightmare! And don't go to Mrs. Lovett's bakery or you'll get more meat than you bargained for! When Sweeney Todd returns from his fifteen-year exile, he's bent on bloody revenge against the corrupt judge who banished him. But he can't do it alone.

Todd enlists the help of a local baker in a quid pro quo arrangement. Everything's going smoothly until a young boy looking for a mother and a young man looking for love get into the mix. But Todd won't let anything come between him and his revenge.

The Ephrata Performing Arts Center brings Stephen Sondheim's creepy classic to the stage just in time for Halloween. Even though EPAC has produced 'Sweeney Todd" in past season this time EPAC Artistic Director Edward R Fernandez promises a brand new look and take on this musical thriller.

Starring in this newest incarnation of Sweeney Todd the roles of Sweeney and his partner in crime will be sung by EPAC favorite performers Mr. Sean Young and Ms. Bobbie Bear.

Sweeney Todd will run from October 19, 2017, through November 4, 2017, at the Sharadin Bigler Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at ephrataperformingartscenter.com or by calling 717-733-7966 x 1. Thursday night shows are at 7:30pm; Friday and Saturday shows are at 8:00pm. Tickets are $15 - $32. Tickets go on sale January 2, 2017.
