Photo Flash: DreamWrights Awards Scholarships to Tanner Uffelman and Sarah Tyler
DreamWrights awarded the Ann Brougher Noll Memorial Scholarship to Tanner Uffelman and Sarah Tyler on May 19, 2013.
Prior to the matinee performance of Beauty and the Beast on Sunday, May 19th, Ann Davis, executive director of DreamWrights, honored two local teens with $500 each as recipients of the Ann Brougher Noll Memorial Scholarship. Tanner Uffelman - Christian School of York and Sarah Tyler - Susquehannock High School are both graduating seniors.
Instituted in 2012 as a way to memorialize past executive director, Ann B. Noll, this scholarship is available to young people between the ages of 17 and 20 who exhibit strong volunteerism and community involvement, and a sincere effort to seek out opportunities for creative and challenging growth. Ann Noll was passionate about young people and gave her full support and encouragement to their pursuit of exploring creative opportunities. Seven worthy teens submitted applications, making the selection process difficult. DreamWrights believes that all of these young people will make an impact on the world as they continue to grow. We are proud to give Tanner and Sarah $500 each toward their future pursuits."DreamWrights creates magical family-centered memories while developing youth leadership skills and creating life-long opportunities."
