Penn State President's Concert Comes To Hershey Theatre This March

The Penn State School of Music, College of Arts and Architecture, Penn State Alumni Association and Penn State Office of the President will present the 13th Annual President's Concert, featuring the Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra, Centre Dimensions Jazz Ensemble and Penn State Trombone Choir at the Hershey Theatre on March 20, 2019 at 7:30 pm.

Tickets for this show cost $20 and go on sale February 1 at 10 am. They are available at Hershey Theatre Box Office, charged by phone at 717-534-3405 or 800-745-3000, and online at www.HersheyEntertainment.com or www.TicketMaster.com.

Penn State's outstanding musical groups will perform March 20 in the Penn State School of Music's 13th annual President's Concert, hosted by President Eric Barron and the Penn State Alumni Association. The 7:30 pm concert at Hershey Theatre will feature the Philharmonic Orchestra, Centre Dimensions Jazz Ensemble, and Trombone Choir. Centre Dimensions, a sixteen-piece big band directed by Marko Marcinko, will play a variety of jazz standards. The Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Gerardo Edelstein, will perform Respighi's Pines of Rome. The Trombone Choir, directed by Mark Lusk, will round out the concert. The concert will conclude with the Penn State Alma Mater.

The Penn State Alumni Association and President Eric Barron will host a pre-concert reception on Wednesday, March 20, from 6-7 pm at the Hershey Story. Alumni and friends can enjoy hors d'oeuvres and socialize with fellow Penn Staters during this time. Admission to the concert is included with the reception.
