Cantankerous Abby is forced to share her room at the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility with Marilyn, a chipper new arrival. A sunny room on the upper floor is preferred real estate, so Abby begins scheming ways to get rid of Marilyn (short of just strangling her with her own hands!). The mismatched roommates make a seemingly harmless bet that soon escalates into a dangerous game of comic one-upmanship.

If Abby can make Marilyn angry, Marilyn moves out. If Marilyn can frighten Abby, Marilyn gets the bed with the window view and she stays. Both ladies quickly up the stakes in a hilarious battle to "win" the room, resulting in a series of hard-to-imagine pranks.

The two principles, Marilyn and Abby, feature actors who've found great success on Chenango River Theatre's stage in the past. Suzan Perry, a member of Actors' Equity, memorably played the mother in Miracle on South Division Street (2012). In 2014, she was featured in the two-person comedy The Velocity of Autumn and was also a favorite at the old Cider Mill Playhouse with multiple appearances there.

Marilyn, the upbeat counterpart to Abby, will be played by Binghamton's own Dori May Ganisin, who has built a reputation for memorable roles in this area. She most recently was seen at CRT in Other Desert Cities (2015).

Four members of the cast of six are appearing for the first time in this area. Playing Marilyn's daughter Colleen is Alexis Robbins (NYC), who performs with the sketch comedy team Steve's Hard Milk. Colleen's husband Derek will be performed by Bradley Michalakis, most recently an Assistant Director at Delaware Rep and a member of the NYC based comedy group Loop Troupe. The pivotal role of Scotty is filled by Ricky DeRosa, a graduate of SUNY Oneonta. Equity actor Chris Hatch (Professor of Theatre at Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY) plays Abby's son Benjamin, along with other roles.

Directing the production is Drew Kahl, who has directed several memorable productions at Chenango River Theatre, as well as performing in most seasons since the theatre started in 2007.

This production is Co-Produced by IBM, NBT Bank, and Davidson Fox & Company with Jim and Beth Daniels.
