URJ Henry S Jacobs Camp

URJ Jacobs Camp is the Reform Jewish movement's overnight camp serving the Deep South, located on Morrison Road in Utica, Mississippi. Campers come from URJ congregations across Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and the Florida Panhandle. The camp has published its Summer 2027 calendar, with a first session running mid-June to early July and a second session running mid-July to early August, plus a one-week Taste of Jacobs introduction for the youngest campers and multi-week programs for older units. Placement is by current grade, from first grade through a junior counselor track for eleventh graders. Registration requires a non-refundable deposit and a security fee that supports trained security personnel and surveillance systems; a staged payment schedule and financial assistance are available. The year-round business office is located at camp.

Programs by current grade: Taste of Jacobs and Olim A/B (grades 1-2), Garin (3-4), Maskilim (5-6), Talmidim (7-8), Chalutzim (9), Solelim junior counselor track (11). A $500 non-refundable deposit per camper per session is due at registration, plus a $180 security fee. Payments are due January 11, March 11, and April 25.
