Summer Trails Day Camp

Founded in 1974, Summer Trails Day Camp is a co-ed day camp for children ages 3 to 15 on a private 20-acre site in Somers, New York, in northern Westchester County. The grounds include a wildlife-filled lake, two heated swimming pools, nature trails, spacious ball fields, a challenge course, climbing wall and zipline, plus athletic and creative arts facilities. Programs are the Little Grove pre-school and entering kindergarten program (half or full day), Traditional Camp for entering grades 1-8, and a Leader in Training program for entering grades 9-10. Families choose three- through eight-week enrollments, and tuition includes all camp activities, American Red Cross swim lessons, a camp t-shirt, backpack, daily lunch option, daily digital photos and snack. Satellite shuttle service runs from ten Westchester locations. Summer Trails is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Campers may enroll for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 weeks; Pre-School and entering Kindergarten campers choose half or full day. Camp is closed Friday, July 3. Satellite shuttle $225-$600 from ten Westchester locations; early morning care (7:30-9:30) $160-$420; extended day (4:30-6:30) $250-$670. Sibling discounts of $150 (3 weeks) or $300 (4+ weeks). A $1,000 deposit per child is due at enrollment. Tuition includes all activities, Red Cross swim lessons, camp t-shirt, backpack, daily lunch option, daily digital photos and snack.
