Rocky Mountain Theatre For Kids

Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids, founded in 1996, is a youth performing arts organization operating theatres in Boulder (5311 Western Avenue, Ste 135) and Denver/Englewood (3425 South Broadway). Now in its 31st year of summer camps, it offers full-day musical theatre camps from late May through early August for ages 5 to 18, divided into Younger, Older and Teen companies at each location. Camps run Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, and range from four-day intensives to four-week productions, each ending in a public performance; 2026 titles include Anastasia, Beetlejuice Jr, Descendants Jr and High School Musical Jr. Tuition for 2026 ranges from $475 for the shortest camp to $1,995 for the four-week production. The organization also runs the Actors Academy for the Performing Arts, after-school classes and private lessons year-round.

Camps run Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, plus performance dates. Grouped as Younger Company (ages 5-8), Older Company (ages 8-17) and Teen Company (ages 11-17) at both Boulder and Denver locations. Auditions are held over Zoom and determine roles only - every enrolled student is guaranteed a part. $50 sibling discount and $100 multi-session discount.
