Quest Theatre Summer Drama Camps

Quest Theatre is a Calgary-based touring Theatre for Young Audiences company that produces shows for young people across Alberta and runs drama classes, school residencies and summer camps from cSPACE Marda Loop at 1721 29 Ave SW. Summer camps for 2026 run weekly from July 6 through August 14 for ages 6 to 15, with one-week camps for younger age groups and a two-week option for campers who want a longer creative process. Days run 9:00am to 4:00pm with supervised drop-off and pick-up windows and optional after care until 5:00pm. Classes cap at 16 campers and are each led by two professional theatre artists; campers devise their own show over the week through drama games, improvisation, writing and prop and costume making, performing it for family on the final Friday. A bursary program supported by donors helps families for whom cost is a barrier.

Drop-off 8:30-9:00am, camp 9:00am-4:00pm, pick-up 4:00-4:30pm, with after care until 5:00pm for $40/week. Maximum 16 campers per class, each facilitated by two professional theatre artists. Campers bring their own lunch; pizza party every Friday. All campers receive a t-shirt and each camp ends in an in-person or filmed performance. Bursaries available on a first-come basis (applications April 1 - May 30, 2026).
