After a sold out debut, this second edition of Women of the Wings: A Celebration of Female Musical Theatre Writers returns to Feinstein's/54 Below on March 2, 2018 to celebrate female musical theatre writers!
It's an evening of new work and classic favorites. You'll hear songs that make you laugh, songs that make you cry, and songs that make you think differently about the world around you... all created by women who have made their mark on musical theatre.
Volume II of this series will feature work from composers and lyricists such as Lynn Ahrens, Barbara Anselmi, Sara Barielles, Kirsten Childs, Jenny Giering, Amanda Green, Keurim Colleen Her, Anna Jacobs, and Star Johnson.
The cast of Women of the Wings Volume II will feature Shaunice Alexander, Savannah Frazier (Amazing Grace), Byron K. Freeman, Hannah Kloepfer (Noise and Color), Erin Kommor (NBC's Rise), Alicia Krakauer (NEXT: Bridge the Gap Concert Series), Noah Mogaka, Lauren Molina (The Skivvies, Rock of Ages), Sandra Okuboyejo, Ariana Sepúlveda, Stephanie Turci, and Michelle Veintimilla (Seven Seconds, Gotham, The Visit).
Megan Minutillo directs and produces. Kristen Rosenfeld music directs.
Women of the Wings: A Celebration of Female Musical Theatre Writers Volume II will play Feinstein's/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Friday, March 2nd, at 9:30 PM. There is a $25-$35 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. Premium tickets are available for $65, additional $6 if purchased at the venue. Tickets and information are available here.
