The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to present Edie Falco and Stephen Wallem, both currently starring in the hit Showtime series, Nurse Jackie, in The Other Steve and Edie, their brand new cabaret show and Ms. Falco's cabaret debut.

There will be three performances only: February 4, 5 & 6 @ 7pm. There is a $20 cover charge, as well as a $15 food/beverage minimum. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within The West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's theatre district. The Other Steve and Edie is conceived by Mr. Wallem and Ms. Falco, with musical direction by three-time After Dark Award winner, Beckie Menzie and Direction by Tony Humrichouser. Throughout the show, the duo will take on songs from contemporary pop to jazz standards, with a healthy dose of show tunes and original material, and even a salute to the other Steve and Eydie.

Edie Falco became the only actress to ever receive the Emmy® Award for 'Outstanding Lead Actress in a Dramatic Series,' the Golden Globe® Award for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Dramatic Television Series,' and the SAG Award for 'Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama,' all in the same year for her performance as 'Carmela Soprano' in the groundbreaking series The Sopranos' debut season. She has subsequently been nominated for each award for every eligible television season, winning two additional Emmy® Awards, another Golden Globe® Award and SAG Award, as well as the American Film Institute's Award for 'Female Television Actor of the Year.' She is also known to television audiences for her recurring roles in the dramatic series Oz and the acclaimed NBC series Law & Order and Homicide. Falco made her Broadway debut in the Tony® Award-winning play Sideman for which she received a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk Award nomination. Other Broadway credits include Frankie and Johnny in the Claire De Lune (with Stanley Tucci) and 'Night Mother (with Brenda Blethyn). Her film credits include A Price Above Rubies, Cost of Living, Laws of Gravity, Copland, Trouble Corner, Private Parts, Hurricane, Layin' Low, Breathing Room, The Funeral, The Addiction, Bullets Over Broadway, Trust, The Unbelievable Truth, Random Hearts, Sunshine State, The Quiet, The Great New Wonderful, Freedomland and Judy Berlin.

Stephen Wallem was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, and worked as a stage actor and After Dark Award-winning cabaret singer in Chicago before moving to New York to make his television debut on Nurse Jackie. National tours include Forever Plaid, Into The Woods and Scrooge with Richard Chamberlain. He accrued nearly 2,500 performances as both 'Jinx' and 'Sparky' in various companies of Forever Plaid, including Chicago, Las Vegas, Denver and the first national tour. Wallem portrayed 'Judas'/'Padre' in the Court Theatre's acclaimed production of Man Of La Mancha (After Dark Award for 'Outstanding Performance,' Joseph Jefferson Award for 'Best Ensemble') and reprised his performance at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven. For the Ravinia Festival, he appeared with Tony® winners Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Michael Cerveris and George Hearn in A Little Night Music, Passion, Sunday In The Park With George and Doll with David Hyde Pierce (all directed by Lonny Price). Wallem also originated the role of 'Arvid' in the Broadway workshop of Kristina, written by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus of ABBA. www.stephenwallem.com
