THE SONGS OF JORDAN SILVER Comes to Duplex Cabaret Theatre

A premiere concert, THE SONGS OF Jordan Silver, is coming to the Duplex Cabaret Theatre on December 8th at 7pm.

Jordan will be showcasing his original solo and collaborative music. He's been working with composers Alex Sage Oyen, Luke Steinhauer, Billy Reece, and Greg Good - all of whom will be featured in the show. He will also be debuting songs from a new indie musical called Mother Never Speaks based on the character Grendel from the Beowulf tale.

The show will feature some of Broadway's most talented performers. Solea Pfeiffer (Hamilton, Songs for a New World), Heathcliff Saunders (The Great Comet of 1812), Allie Trimm (13), Talia Suskauer (Be More Chill), Conor Ryan (Cinderella, JCS live, Desperate Measures), Brittany Bennett, Corey Kline, Michelle Pauker, Lauren Robinson, and Dominique Allen Lawson.

Jordan Silver is a playwright / lyricist. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2016. He's had two developmental readings of his play, "Nobody Gives a Sh#t About You (and the power that comes with knowing it.)" about a Vine star failing to cope when the app is discontinued. "YOUR FAVORITE ACTOR FRIENDS," (a new musical with book and lyrics by Jordan Silver) premiered at The Green Room 42 under their New Writer's Series. Jordan also did the book / lyrics to "Welcome to Ridgington," which was produced by TheatreNow NY at Signature Theatre. Jordan Silver and Luke Steinhauer presented "The Songs of Silver & Stein," at 54 below featuring Jai'len Josey on their song "Exhausting." This past year, Jordan was invited to attend the ASCAP musical theatre workshop in LA. He recently collaborated with Alexander Sage Oyen on his new song "Decompose," available on iTunes and Spotify where you can also find his original single "Maryland."

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street (on 7th Avenue, just off the 1 train). Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, and there is a two beverage minimum. Underage Policy: NO ONE UNDER 21 is allowed in The Duplex, However, we do make some exceptions for attendance in the cabaret theatre. The underage person or their family must request permission from me at least 48 hours (2 days) before the show that they want to see.
