Highly acclaimed New York Vocalist Steven Maglio will be performing this evening, April 7th, 2015, at 7:30pm, at the elegant and eclectic music venue, The Cutting Room, 44 East 32nd Street, New York, NY.

This will be the first live performance of Mr. Maglio's recent CD release "You Belong To Me," a heartfelt collection of romantic and touching tunes all of which Frank Sinatra surprisingly never recorded.

This live performance will include the entire song selection from the "You Belong To Me" CD, namely "Cry," "Stay As Sweet As You Are," "Good Morning Heartache," "Old Cape Cod," "Ain't Misbehavin'," "This Time The Dream's On Me," "Skylark," "Real Live Girl," " I Remember You," " The Glory Of Love," "The Party's Over," as well as the title song, "You Belong To Me."

In April's Jersey Jazz Newsletter, Joe Lang of the New Jersey Jazz Society reports, "Stepping away from the Sinatra shadow, Maglio shows that he is capable of appealingly bringing his own style and personality to these tunes.."

"It seems as though Sinatra sang everything," says Steven Maglio. "But, he never did these well-known classics, so I'm doing them for him."

Mr. Maglio will be accompanied by Jim West on piano, Matt Finck on guitar, James Franklin on bass, John Ruta on sax/flute and Jay Dittamo on drums.

For reservations and information, contact The Cutting Room, at (212) 691-1900. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $30 per person, or $40 on day of show. In addition, there is a $20 food/drink minimum.

Many noteworthy personalities have commented about Steven Maglio's distinctive vocal gift. Talented actor Tony Danza remarked after hearing Steven sing at a Patsy's Sinatra bash, "I like Steven's singing because he pays attention to those minor details that make a song popular, and then puts those details into his own renditions. That's one of the marks of a great singer." Michael Dale of Broadwayworld.com noted, "What's most impressive about Steven Maglio is that even while tributing a singer he so obviously admires, he manages to make the evening his own. You may walk in because of Frank Sinatra, but you'll leave with an appreciation for a terrific entertainer named Steven Maglio." Sidney Zion, New York Daily News columnist and friend of Frank Sinatra reported, "If Frank Sinatra could have seen the show you just did, you would be the one he'd choose to continue singing his songs."

Steven Maglio has appeared as a guest vocalist with Deana Martin (in the Deana Martin Variety Show conducted by Vincent Falcone) as well as the main attraction in venues such as The Rainbow Room, The Blue Note, The Sands Hotel in Atlantic City, The Paris Hotel in Las Vegas and so many others.

Mr. Maglio continues to delight audiences every Saturday evening at the The Carnegie Club, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, 156 West 56th Street, New York, NY.He performs two shows back-to-back. "Sinatra: Remembering The Sands" at 8:30PM, followed by "Sinatra Songs" at 10:30PM, accompanied by the world-renowned 11-piece Stan Rubin Orchestra. He just recently celebrated his 1,000thperformance there.

Steven Maglio's CD "You Belong To Me" is currently heard on Dick Robinson's American Standards by the Sea, as well on 1100 WHLI Radio and other jazz and internet radio stations. To purchase, visit CD Baby, Amazon, CD Universe, and iTunes.
