After captivating the audience at Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl & the Montreal International Jazz Festival, singer-songwriter RHONDA ROSS will make her return to The Iridium, Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 8:30pm for ONE SHOW ONLY. Throughout the past year, with sold-out performances at The Cutting Room, Iridium & Stamford, CT's Palace Theater, it has become evident that Rhonda not only has the voice, but the significance to carry on her mother's (Diana Ross's) legacy, all the while establishing her own unique musical destination.

At IRIDIUM, Rhonda will be backed by her slamming jazz band: Terry Burrus on piano, Levone Fulman on bass, Kevin Harrington on drums & back-up vocals by Keesha Gumbs, Sheniquan Trotman & Eric Sumpter.

Singer/Songwriter RHONDA ROSS is an African Diasporic Woman of the World. Bilingual in French & English (and raising her son to be fluent in 4 languages), Rhonda often connects with her audiences through their native tongues. Her original music lives in the gap between Jazz, Neo-soul, Funk & Gospel. Her lyrics live in the pause between life's most important questions & their answers.

Rhonda's music is based in traditional jazz, but pulls from the entire diaspora. In 1994, she met, married & began a 20-year musical collaboration with jazz pianist & composer, Rodney Kendrick & through him, started to study with the late jazz great Abbey Lincoln. "It was Abbey & Rodney who convinced me to begin my journey as a singer-songwriter. I primarily consider myself a story-teller & poet & use my music to inspire & uplift & to teach people, including myself." Their live CD, Rhonda Ross Live: Featuring Rodney Kendrick is a hot Internet seller.

Rhonda headlined one of President Obama's 2nd Inaugural Balls & later performed to standing ovations & rave reviews at the Hollywood Bowl, the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Wolf Trap, Madison Square Garden & the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.

As the only child of Diana Ross & Motown Founder Berry Gordy, it has become evident that Rhonda not only has the talent, but the significance to carry on her parents legacy, all the while establishing her own unique musical destination.
