Review: YOURS TRULY, ARIANA GRANDE Ignites The Green Room 42 with Powerful Vocals
Pop hits, deep cuts, and a night of nostalgia
On April 20, Yours Truly, Ariana Grande took over The Green Room 42 for a high energy, emotionally charged night celebrating the music and legacy of Ariana Grande. Produced by Meg Gallo and Rachel Sandler of Rendezvous Theatre Collective, with music direction also by Rachel Sandler and a band led by Caleb Schoberg and Britton Matthews, the show blended pop concert energy with theatrical storytelling. Built around themes of love, heartbreak, healing, and self empowerment, the night felt both nostalgic and deeply personal, capturing exactly why Ariana’s music continues to resonate so strongly.
The cast featured Molly Kavanaugh, Aline McEntee, Allison Calabrese, Milan Parodie, Ava Bella Briscoe, Lila Prince, Claire King, Kobe Morrison, Emi Zea, Rockie Mosher, Renee Sabrina, Kenza Nejmi, Reese Klepacki, Marcel Rivera Ramirez, Samantha Gibbs, Maxwell Brodzinski, Jeannille Ettinoffe, Michelle D’Amico, Erin Gerasimovich, Noah Osborne, Olivia Mathis, Terrell Chambers, Pia Ramchandani, and Meg Gallo. It was a stacked lineup of performers, and the variety of voices allowed the show to move seamlessly between powerhouse vocals, tight harmonies, and more intimate moments.

Noah Osborne and Kobe Morrison delivered one of the most emotionally grounded moments of the night with “Ghostin.” The song’s quiet vulnerability came through clearly in their performance, with both singers leaning into the softness and restraint the number requires. Their voices blended beautifully, creating a haunting and intimate atmosphere that pulled the audience in and held them there.

Lila Prince, Allison Calabrese, Milan Parodie, and Ava Bella Briscoe brought strong group energy to “We Can’t Be Friends.” The number felt cohesive and polished, with each performer contributing to tight harmonies and a unified emotional arc. Their chemistry made the performance feel connected and intentional, turning the song into one of the night’s most engaging ensemble moments.
Kenza Nejmi, Samantha Gibbs, and Emi Zea delivered a standout mashup of “God Is a Woman,” “Dangerous Woman,” and “Into You.” The arrangement allowed each performer to shine while still maintaining a strong group dynamic. Their vocals were powerful and controlled, and the transitions between songs felt seamless, building momentum as the number progressed.

Kenza Nejmi returned alongside Claire King and Michelle D’Amico to close the show with “Greedy,” bringing a completely different energy to the stage. The performance was bold, confident, and full of attitude, leaning into the playful, high energy nature of the song. The trio worked well together, creating a number that felt dynamic and fun while still vocally strong with perfect harmonies.
By the end of the night, Yours Truly, Ariana Grande felt like both a concert and a shared emotional experience. The performers fully embraced the themes of the music, creating a space where the audience could connect through nostalgia, heartbreak, and joy. It was a vibrant and satisfying tribute that honored Ariana’s catalog while giving each performer the chance to make the material their own.
