Singer/Actress, Rachel Bay Jones, will perform songs from her highly acclaimed new CD, "ShowFolk", at Joe's Pub in New York City. Jones has been receiving accolades from both the musical theatre and folk worlds for her CD, which presents songs from the musical theatre repertoire in untraditional acoustic folk and bluegrass settings.

Jones' set will feature such modern Broadway Musical favorites as "Another Day" (Rent) and "For Good" (Wicked), as well as standards like "Little Bird, Little Bird" (Man of La Mancha), "Gonna Build a Mountain" (Stop the World - I Want to Get Off) and Bernstein, Comden and Green's "Lucky to be Me" (On the Town), her recording of which has become a staple on WNYC's Jonathan Schwartz Show.

Jones' band, made up of veteran Broadway and Folk musicians, will back her up on such instruments as acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, dobro, upright bass, and bouzouki. She will also be joined onstage by Broadway singer/actor, Randy Redd (Parade, Ring of Fire). "ShowFolk", released on Plum Song Records by producer and long-time Rent musical director, David Truskinoff, is currently available at CDBaby.com and iTunes, and at RachelBayJones.com.

The Joe's Pub performance is Sunday, Aug. 2 at 9:30 pm.
