ONE Healing Arts Company Presents SONGS OF SPIRIT at Joe’s Pub 1/31

Insightful, funny, authentic and unexpected - SONGS OF SPIRIT is the inaugural event of ONE Healing Arts COMPANY, a New Theatre Company devoted to producing theatrical work that opens hearts and minds, creates a nurturing environment for artists, and promotes wellness and healing of mind and body. SONGS OF SPIRIT is a concert of original songs by emerging musical theatre writers benefiting ONE Healing Arts COMPANY.

Emerging composers and lyricists were asked to contribute songs that uniquely express what spirituality means to them. SONGS OF SPIRIT will showcase songs by Hannah Kohl, Jay Kuo, Tina Lear, Daniel Mate', Grace McLean, Stuart McMeans and Tom Stuart, Will Reynolds, and Joel Waggoner and Eric Price. The concert includes a fantastic array of material, from outrageous to touching, performed by some of the best contemporary Broadway Performers. (Performing Artists to be announced shortly.)

Mike Tilley will provide musical direction and the evening will be directed by Carolyn D. Miller and ONE Healing Arts COMPANY Artistic Director and producer of Broadway's Memphis, Nick Demos. "We are so excited to begin this new company by showcasing such amazingly talented writers," said Demos. "It is such a diverse evening of material that really reflects our views of spirituality as a nation and a world, and points to the reality of our oneness."
