O'Hara, Collins, Tyrell & More Set For Carlyle Hotel 2009 Fall Season
The Carlyle Hotel has announced the 2009 fall season of performers at the legendary Café Carlyle - the "favorite of all New York nightspots," says Liz Smith - another New York legend.
Tony nominated singing actress Kelli O'Hara, who triumphantly made her Café Carlyle debut this spring as an expectant mother, will open the fall season as a new parent with a two-week return engagement from September 15 - September 26. Following Ms. O'Hara is legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins who will present ten (10) encore performances of her sold-out spring engagement from September 29 - October 8. Husband and wife singing duo John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey return for an extended engagement from October 13 - November 7. Making his fifth consecutive holiday appearance in the Café Carlyle will be vocalist Steve Tyrell who will be in residence from November 10 - December 31. Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will once again perform on Monday evenings from September 14 through December 7.
