Metropolitan Room Presents Karen Mason 5/15 & Gregg Edelman 5/13-14

Karen Mason and Gregg Edelman will perform at the Metropolitan Room, filling the dates left empty after Julie Wilson was forced to cancel due to health issues.

Edelman will perform his 'Back In Town' act on May 13 and 14. Edelman describes the show as going "back to those glamorous 'long ago' nights when people regularly went to see top singers every time they returned to their favorite supper clubs, places like the Empire Room in Chicago, the Coconut Grove in Los Angeles or the Persian Room in New York City." Songs included in the evening are "When I Fall in Love," "In the Still of the Night," "I Will Wait for You," "You Fascinate Me So" and "At Long Last Love."

Edelman was nominated for four Tony Awards for his performances in CITY OF ANGELS, Anna KarenINA, 1776 and the 2002 Revival of INTO THE WOODS.

Mason will perform her latest cabaret act May 15 at 7:30pm. Mason won a MAC (Manhattan Association Of Cabaret And Clubs) Award in 2004 for Major Female Vocalist. Mason debuted on Broadway in 1982 as Frances in PLAY ME A COUNTRY SONG. Mason was the stand-by for Norma Desmond in SUNSET BOULEVARD on Broadway and was most recently seen on Broadway in MAMMA MIA! and HAIRSPRAY as Tanya and Velva Ton Vessle respectivly.
