Mark Reis to Bring DIAPERS, DISHES AND DREAMS to Palm Desert, 7/21

On Sunday, July 21, 2013, Mark Reis makes his Desert debut in a cabaret style concert at a 2 PM matinee performance at Arthur Newman Theatre in The Joslyn Center Theater in Palm Desert.

"Diapers, Dishes, and Dreams" is a new show based on Mr. Reis dancing and performance life from countless Broadway musicals including 3 years in the original production of "Fosse" and throughout the U.S. and Europe. It also deals with his years as a choreographer, teacher, yoga instructor, partner and father, having adopted their son Bodhi, then stay home dad, and now author of his first children's book entitled "A Smile for Everyone". It sounds like a lot for a one-hour show but it all fits together seamlessly.

Nominated for Best Male Cabaret Performance by Broadway World Los Angeles, "Diapers, Dishes, and Dreams" recently sold out Sterling's At The Federal in LA and Mark was invited to perform it for the San Diego Fringe Festival this summer. Created and written by Mark, the show was originally directed by Ron Kellum and choreographed by Hector Guerrero, and will feature musical director Bryan Pezzone on the piano. Told through stories, song and dance, the piece will hopefully motivate, and inspire, make you laugh and maybe even cry.
