MATILDA's Lesli Margherita Set for Marty Thomas' DIVA Tonight

Marty Thomas presents DIVA is a weekly show at Industry Bar in midtown Manhattan. Featuring a cast of Alexa Green (WICKED, COMPANY), Kelly King (Babyface, Michael Bolton) and Marissa Rosen (MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING), it is hosted and produced by Marty Thomas (XANADU, WICKED, THE SECRET GARDEN). DIVA celebrates fabulous female vocalists paying tribute to some of histories most over the top icons! The cast performs a brand new show every week with exciting new guests rotating.

Tonight, August 12, Lesli Margherita (MATILDA the musical) takes to the Industry stage to perform a full concert and promote her upcoming solo show at the Cutting Room.

After sold out runs of her previous acts in both Los Angeles and New York, Olivier Award Winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda the Musical, Zorro) brings her brand new nightclub event ALL HAIL THE QUEEN: THE BITCH IS BACK! to NYC for one night only: Sunday Aug 25th at 7:30p at The Cutting Room (44 E 32nd St).

An evening of hilarious entertainment, ALL HAIL THE QUEEN: THE BITCH IS BACK! is a Vegas- style extravaganza - like nothing you've ever seen before. Accompanied by a 5-piece band (led by musical director and arranger Brett Ryback), and surrounded by fierce backup dancers Stephen Carrasco (Kinky Boots, Ghost), Ian Liberto (Chaplin, Billy Elliot) and singers Kat Hennessey (Billy Elliot) and Katie Gassert (Rated RSO), the ever-fabulous, Ms. Margherita sings and struts through a dynamic 80 minute set of pop favorites.

The show was written and conceived by Margherita will be directed by Lauren Bass with Musical Direction & Arrangements by Brett Ryback (Murder for Two, Darling) and choreography by Michael Mindlin (Bring it On!, 9 to 5). The evening will be produced by Jordan Bass & Lauren Bass.
