Joe Iconis & George Salazar Bring TWO-PLAYER GAME to Feinstein's at the Nikko

Following the sold-out Off-Broadway engagement of Be More Chill and the release of "Two-Player Game" as an album on Ghostlight Records, award-winning composer Joe Iconis and Drama Desk-nominated actor George Salazar will bring their show Two-Player Gameto Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only-Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m.and Saturday, October 20 at 8 p.m.! In this intimate, yet mind-melding concert, Salazar-the Drama Desk-nominated actor known for Be More Chill, The Lightning Thief, Godspell, and tick tick BOOM, joins Iconis-the Larson Award-winning musical theatre writer known for Be More Chill, Broadway Bounty Hunter, The Black Suits, and his songs for "Smash"-for an intimate yet mind-melding concert you'll never forget!

Iconis and Salazar premiered Two-Player Game at Feinstein's/54 Below in the spring for a sold-out seven show run. The duo have collaborated on several musicals in the past, and here you'll get a chance to see George share showstoppers he has originated on stage, songs he'd never get to sing, brand-new material from upcoming musicals, and more. After concluding its sold-out 10-week Off-Broadway engagement on September 30, 2018, Be More Chill will begin performances at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre onWednesday, February 13, 2019.

Joe Iconis is a writer and performer. As a composer-lyricist-book writer, he has authored the musicals Be More Chill (New York City's Signature Theater, Two River Theater, upcoming Lyceum Theater/Broadway), Broadway Bounty Hunter(Barrington Stage Company), Bloodsong of Love (Ars Nova), The Black Suits(Center Theater Group), ReWrite (Urban Stages), Theaterworks USA's The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks and We The People, the currently-in-development Hunter S. Thompson Musical (for La Jolla Playhouse), and Love In Hate Nation. Joe's songs appeared on Season 2 of NBC's "Smash" and the New York Times called him "the future of musical theater." George Salazar is best known for originating the role of "Michael Mell" in Be More Chill and for his Drama Desk-nominated performance in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. He can be seen in the Spring of 2019 in the upcoming Broadway production of Be More Chill and was previously seen off-Broadway in the show's highly anticipated sold-out run. Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

Guests of Feinstein's at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko's lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko's intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors.
