HOTSY TOTSY BURLESQUE'S TRIBUTE TO QUANTUM LEAP Comes to The Slipper Room

Something is amiss at the Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women... it is a night of favorite acts from the biggest stars of NY Burlesque, but there have been a series of mysterious accidents, that are looking more and more like sabotage! Is someone trying to kill off the cast members?

Luckily hunky time traveler Sam Beckett (Handsome Brad) has found himself beamed into the body of Cherry Pitz, and along with his hologram pal Al Calavicci (Rory Scholl), they are going to attempt to save the day. But there are questions that need answers! Who is trying to kill of the cast and why? Can Sam walk in Cherry's heals? And more importantly - can he learn Cherry's burlesque act in time for her big number?

Hosted by Cherry Pitz and Handsome Brad, with special Guest Star Rory Scholl. Performances by Aphrodite Rose, Artist M, Candy Apples, Gal Friday, Mr. Gorgeous, Roxie La Rouge, with Brief Sweat keeping everything neat & tidy, and Rosie Cheeks warming up the crowd.

30 years ago in March of 1989, Quantum Leap debuted. It was an instant hit! Winning multiple Golden Globes and Emmy awards. Created by Donald P. Bellisario, it starred Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett, a physicist who leaps through spacetime during an experiment in time travel, by temporarily taking the place of other people to correct historical mistakes. Dean Stockwell co-starred as Al Calavicci, Sam's womanizing, cigar-smoking companion and best friend, who appears to him as a hologram. For years there have been hints of a reboot or a movie, and the producers of Hotsy Totsy feel we have waited long enough, so we are taking matters into our own hands! The plot of the show allowed for the star to play many characters (including a male stripper), why not beam him into Cherry Pitz and let him try his hand at burlesque?

Eleven years ago, Cherry Pitz and Joe the Shark partnered up to produce Hotsy Totsy Burlesque and it's been a fabulous ride! We play to often sold-out shows and our dedicated fans gleefully follow the soap opera that is Hotsy Totsy often declaring after each performance, "That was best show you folks have ever done!" As performers and writers we have grown as a troupe and as friends and are happy to move into our 11th year looking forward to the rhinestones, glitter and mayhem the next 10 years shall bring!

Every month you are invited to The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women. The residents of the home need money to keep their hotel open and to buy G-strings and glitter. Sadly, the shows have had their technical difficulties and in the past they have had to combat Daleks, Darth Vader, The Borg, Zombies, Network Censors, Evil from other dimensions and He Who Should Not Be Named! The ladies promise you beautiful, clothing-averse women, lots of laughs, spinning tassels, and flying underpants. So join us for Hotsy Totsy Burlesque at The Home For Wayward Girls and Fallen Women where the motto is "We've fallen, we can't get up, and we like it that way!
