FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its Spring/Summer 2010 season with the debut of acclaimed jazz and blues vocalist, TAMM E. HUNT on Wednesday, August 25. For her show at Feinstein's Ms. Hunt will offer selections from the Jazz & Blues lexicon with a range of materials featuring evergreens from the American Song Book. The show takes place at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

TAMM E. HUNT has recorded with Elton John, Patrick Adams, Tony Valor, Angela Bofil, John Luongo and many other hit makers, creating number one records on the BillBoard Magazine Pop, R & B, Dance and Disco charts. From recordings to the bandstand her powerful musical collaborations read like who's who in Jazz and Blues: Antonio Hart, Freddie Hubbard, Teri Thornton, Dorothy Donegan, Bobby Watson, Stanley Jordan, Julian "Cannonball" Adderly, Cecil Brooks, III, Buster Williams, and Walter Booker are just a few of the masters who have extended their expertise to support Ms. Hunt's artistry.

Born in New York City and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, to a musical family, she is the niece of Blues singer Hannah Sylvester, who was known as the "Mae West Of Harlem" and for her outstanding recordings with orchestra leader Fletcher Henderson.

After spending a short while at The Juilliard School of Music and Fordham University, Tamm E Hunt hit the road traveling the globe and building a career in music and theater. Along the way she appeared on the BBC in London, NHK Public Television in Japan, Rome TV in Italy and the David Letterman Late Night Show also singing in top venues in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Canada and London.

She appeared in Alex Haley's made for TV movie, Roots: The Gift with Louis Gossett, Jr., and later co-starred with saxophonist Gary Bartz in the celebrated film short; A Jazz Story directed by Mevlut Akkaya and wrote and starred in the off Broadway multi-media musical Billie Holiday: The Legend with pianist Roy Merriwether.

FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY will present TAMM E. HUNT on Wednesday, August 25 at 8:30 PM. The show has a $25.00 cover with $40.00 premium seats and an additional $25.00 food and beverage minimum.
