Feinstein's at Loews Regency, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its all-star Spring 2010 season with the debut of Tony Award nominated Broadway star Kerry Butler for one night only on April 19. For her show at Feinstein's she'll be singing selections from "Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust" her debut CD of Disney classics and rarities, along with songs from shows she's done throughout the years. The show, which is directed by Scott Wittman with Musical Direction by Michael Kosarin, runs at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Kerry Butler was last seen in the Broadway hit Rock of Ages and before starred in the critically acclaimed Broadway production of Xanadu, for which she received rave reviews and a 2008 Tony Award Nomination for "Best Actress in a Musical." Charles Isherwood from the New York Times said "Kerry Butler, as the Greek demi-goddess Clio, who also roams Venice Beach as the Australian mortal Kira, is simply heaven on eight little polyurethane wheels." Publications such as Vanity Fair, Variety, New York Daily News, Entertainment Weekly, Time Out New York, the Associated Press and others, have all singled out her performance for being fresh, exciting and a "flowing vision on rollerskates."

Among her television and film credits are "30 Rock," "Lipstick Jungle," "Cupid," "Borough of Kings," "Campfire Stories," "One Life to Live," "Second Honeymoon" starring Roma Downey, "Sesame Street," "Hometown" and "Another World," as well as several live performances on national television shows.

Kerry made her Broadway Debut as Belle in Beauty And The Beast, a role she originated with the Toronto Production. As Belle, she was nominated for a DORA award, which is given out by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) for "Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role." She followed that with Blood Brothers, Les Miserables and Little Shop of Horrors, in which she was nominated for an Outer Critics Award. Most notably she received rave reviews starring as Penny Pingleton in Hairspray which garnered her with the prestigious Clarence Derwent Award given to one male and one female performer a year for excellence in the theater. She also received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle award nominations for that role.

Kerry has worked Off Broadway and regionally in Bat Boy: The Musical, The Opposite of Sex at the Williamstown Theater Festival, Miracle Brothers at the Vineyard Theater, The "I" Word at the Ensemble Studio Theater, The Folsom Head at the Currican Theater, Prodigal at the York Theater and numerous readings and workshops of new musicals.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency will present Kerry Butler on Monday, April 19 at 8:00 PM. The show has a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats and a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. There are a select amount of seats based on availability with no food/beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
