FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its Winter 2011 season with the return of Bistro and MAC award winning vocalist ERIC Michael GillETT. Celebrating the Academy Awards, Gillett will perform "Widescreen - Songs From & About The Movies." He will be accompanied by Musical Director Jeff Cubeta on piano and Matt Wigton on bass. All shows, which will feature arrangements by Cubeta and Don Rebic, will be performed at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

"Widescreen" is for anyone who's ever stumbled into a darkened movie house to escape the tumult of everyday life. "Widescreen" uses the silver screen as a jumping off point, borrowing songs written specifically for motion pictures ("What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?," "Theme from Valley of the Dolls," "Moon River") and marrying them to music from theatre ("If the World Were Like the Movies") and contemporary pop ("Widescreen," "Erroll Flynn") to explore the world of the movies and the fantasies, illusions and lies that fill our lives.

ERIC Michael GillETT has appeared on Broadway in Kiss Me Kate, Sweet Smell of Success and The Frogs. New York audiences have seen him in the role of "Papa Denny" in Dream A Little Dream at the Village Theatre, as "Richard" in the York Theater's workshop of the The Tutor and in the New York City Opera productions of Cinderella, Pirates of Penzance and Candide. Other off-Broadway credits include Frankenstein at 37 Arts, Good Companions at the York Theater, Of Thee I Sing with Encores! and Time & Again at Manhattan Theater Club. His film and television appearances include "Law & Order," "Ed," The Producers, Maid in Manhattan and the upcoming indie feature, The Third Testament, which will be released in March. He is also the 2009 recipient of the Dick Gallagher Award from the Mabel Mercer Foundation. His previous nightclub shows are Cast of Thousands - Gillett Sings Carnelia, his critically lauded collection of radio songs of the past forty years, Hook, Line & Singer and his most recent show at Feinstein's, Hooray For Love -- Gillett Sings Arlen.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present ERIC Michael GillETT from Tuesday through Saturday at 8:30 PM. There are no late shows for this engagement. All shows have a $40.00 cover, with $60.00 premium and $75.00 up-front seats available, all with an additional $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY is located at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street in New York City.
