Actress, singer and newly-discovered cabaret star Emily Shoolin, will be returning in a revamped version of last winter's Perfect Isn't Easy for ONE NIGHT ONLY (Tuesday, November 9th at 9:30 PM) at the Laurie Beechman Theatre (inside the West Bank Cafe).

Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 212-695-6909. Cover charge is $10 plus a $15 food/drink minimum. Perfect Isn't Easy features direction by Frank Galgano (Naked Boys Singing and Garbo and Me) and music direction by Matt Castle (Broadway's recent revival of Company).

Direct from the recent national tour of Fiddler on the Roof (featuring Harvey Fierstein and Topol), Emily Shoolin takes a hilarious and honest look at the day-to-day, uphill, near impossible climb to perfection. Complete with songs old and new ranging from little-known Disney gems and show tunes to pop classics and standards, Perfect Isn't Easy is a heartfelt and hilarious evening with Emily and her inner thoughts as she reminisces on her path to finding her very own version of "perfection."

Shoolin promises a "revamped version of last year's show that sold lots and lots of tickets to some really happy audience members. Included will be a new song written just for me by the witty and unique composer Hannah Kohl. Plus, ya know, lots has happened in life so there's more juicy stuff to add to the story. There MIGHT even be brownies. IT IS NOT TO BE MISSED!"
