DEAR BETTE - A Tribute to Bette Midler Comes to The Abbey 7/16

By: Jun. 20, 2017
Jennica McCleary was 17 the first time someone asked "Do you know who you look like?" But looking like a young Bette Midler means nothing if you can't walk, talk trash, sing and have the unstoppable energy of the diva. Over the years she fell in love with pre-Hollywood Midler and her self-discovery in front of crowds of people trying to find the same. Joined on stage by the Harlettes and guests at The Continental, McCleary's "Dear Bette," will take you on a journey through the early works of Midler & the birth of The Divine Miss M, showing how she used her art and humor to inspire an entire community struggling to belong.

McCleary has performed as a Bette Midler for nearly ten years on stages across the U.S. Her other notable roles have included Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, and Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde. She has also traveled the country working as a singer, fire-eater, and choreographer.

Tickets for "Dear Bette," are on sale now and can be purchased at www.TicketFly.com. Tickets are $20 for General Admission, and $35 for VIP, which includes reserved table seating and one complimentary glass of wine.
